Service engineer – Visutech AS
Visutech, founded in 1988, is a group of companies with operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. The head office is in Gothenburg. Visutech works closely together with several major suppliers and is one of the largest suppliers of digital solutions for the graphic industry on the Nordic market.
Since we provide our engineers with ongoing trainings and have a wide experience of knowledge sharing within the group, Visutech’s service organization is one of the most attractive within the printing industry in the Nordic Region. Currently we have over 20 engineers located in the four countries.
About the job
As a service engineer at Visutech you will provide our customers with technical support on machines such as Kyocera, HP Indigo and other technologies within Visutech´s product range. Support for our customers will be supplied both remotely and at customer site. You will be the local expert on Visutech's products and take an important part in the mission to further develop Visutech’s customers, primarily in your local area. You will also be the link between the customer and the manufacturers.
Profile
You are self-motivated, social, and driven as a person. You can handle stress well and can work with different types of people and cultures. Since the work involves customer contact it is vital that you are flexible, service-minded and customer-oriented in your approach.
Knowledge and experience
Good knowledge in printing technology, electronics, computing, and mechanics is essential. You need to have good PC skills and you should be able to express yourself well in written and spoken English.
Experience in the graphic market is a demand, experience regarding digital printing presses and inkjet technology is of great value. Basic knowledge of pre-press workflow is a big plus.
Good documentation and administrative skills are essential and required for the work.

Sales Expert / Commercial Print
Visutech is a market-leading supplier in the graphic industry and is represented throughout the Nordic region. Some of our partners are HP Inc, Kyocera, ABG and C.P Bourg. The turnover is approximately SEK 280 million / year, Visutech has a good profitability and have currently about 45 employees. The head office is in Mölndal outside Gothenburg, were our showroom and warehouse also are located.
Visutech are growing and we are currently looking for a Sales Expert in Commercial Print, primarily for the Swedish and Danish markets. The Commercial Print area includes digital sheet presses from HP Indigo and Kyocera with associated finishing equipment and software. As a Sales Expert, you are offered a challenging fast-paced job in an organization with a passion for printed communication. Simply put, we have a Passion for Print. We are looking for a driven and customer-oriented person with sales experience of digital printing presses and / or other graphic equipment. The pace and demands are high but so is the reward. You will have several experts in pre-sales at your service who will support you with demos and in-depth TCO analyzes.
The role starts from home but requires travel within the Nordic region, to our partners' showrooms and training centers around EMEA (mainly in Israel, Barcelona and Amsterdam). The opportunity to be at our head quarter in Mölndal 1–2 days a week is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Visit and work with existing and new customers.
- An important part of the work is to be responsive, learn to understand the customer's process and based on it propose and sell solutions that are beneficial for both parties.
- Together with the customer, identify and implement new business opportunities.
- You run and close business processes, are pragmatic, negotiate and produce calculations.
Requirements/qualifications
- Relevant academic education
- Documented experience of successful sales of equivalent products
- Patience to be able to run long business processes but at the same time be able to act quickly if the opportunity arises
- Accurate
- Large network of contacts in the graphic industry, mainly in Sweden and/or Denmark
- Good understanding of Swedish/Danish/English in speech and writing
Meritorious
- Experience of working with products of high capital value
- Interest in technology in general and graphic communication in particular
- Further education in marketing and sales
