Service engineer – Visutech Oy
As a service engineer at Visutech you are part of a service team of about 20 employees with a high level of technical knowledge and great flexibility. Visutech’s service organization is one of the largest and most attractive within the printing industry in the Nordic region.
Visutech, founded in 1988, is a group of companies with operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The head office is located in Gothenburg. Visutech works closely together with HP and is one of the largest suppliers of digital solutions for the graphic industry on the Nordic market. Visutech has approximately 50 employees around the four countries.
About the job
As a service engineer at Visutech you will provide our customers with technical support on the products that Visutech sell (primarily HP Indigo). The support will be supplied both remote and at customer site. You will be the local expert on Visutech's products and take an important part in the mission to further develop Visutech’s customers, primarily in your local area. You will also be the link between the customer and the manufacturer HP Indigo.
Profile
You are self-motivated, social and driven as a person. You can handle stress well and have the ability to work with different types of people. Since the work involves customer contact it is vital that you are flexible, service aware and customer-oriented in your approach.
Knowledge and experience
Good knowledge in printing technology, electronics, computing and mechanics is essential. You need to have good PC skills and you should be able to express yourself well in written and spoken English.
Experience of digital presses like the HP Indigo is an advantage, but also experience regarding larger printers or presses is of great value. Basic knowledge of pre-press workflow is a big plus.
Good documentation and administrative skills are essential and required for the work.
