Financial Accountant (Gothenburg/Mölndal)

Visutech is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant with a few years’ experience who wants to take clear, end-to-end responsibility within the finance process and contribute to high quality in closing and reporting. The role is operational and largely focused on Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and day-to-day accounting, including month-end close activities and analysis. 

 The role also emphasizes a strong focus on continuous improvement and development. We are looking for someone who is digitally minded and wants to help develop routines and workflows, supporting Visutech’s continued development. As Visutech is a Nordic group with entities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, the role includes multi-currency bookkeeping, VAT and compliance with local statutory requirements. This requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, both from a legal-entity and a group perspective.

Key responsibilities 

• Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable  
• Day-to-day accounting, account reconciliations and accruals/prepayments  
• Month-end close, including VAT reconciliations, reporting support and analysis  
• Participation in year-end close, statutory accounts/annual report and audit  
• Intercompany accounting and group-related flows  
• Development and streamlining of finance processes and system/ERP workflows (ERP/Jeeves)  

Qualifications 

• Relevant post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting  
• A few years of experience in accounting, with a strong end-to-end perspective  
• Experience with year-end closing activities  
• Experience in VAT handling, particularly import/export VAT, is a merit  
• Experience in group accounting and/or Nordic group structures is a merit  
• Strong systems proficiency (Microsoft Office) and confidence working in an ERP environment  
• Excellent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
