Karamello has made a strategic investment in advanced printing technology with an HP Indigo press and finishing equipment from ABG, installed by Visutech.
As a leading player in packaging and branding of promotional confectionery, Karamello has undertaken a significant investment in digital printing technology during the fall of 2024 and early 2025. With the installation of multiple new presses from Visutech, Karamello has strengthened its production capacity and created new business opportunities.
The purpose of this investment is to enhance production reliability, reduce lead times for customers, and ensure superior print quality. To meet the increased demand and expanded production capacity, Karamello has also hired new employees for its production unit in Linköping. As part of this shift, some of the production that was previously handled abroad has now been relocated to Sweden, generating more local jobs.

This new digital printing technology not only strengthens Karamello’s position in the market but also enables them to offer printing services to other customers. This means they can now expand their offerings beyond confectionery and provide customized printing solutions for various industries.
