Stema invests in HP Indigo 120K to strengthen commercial print production

Following the announced merger between Stema and Eskils, creating one of the most comprehensive print providers in the Nordics, the newly strengthened organization continues to invest in digital production with an HP Indigo 120K digital press from Visutech.

Eskils, with its strong position in retail applications, already operates an HP Indigo 15K, and the new investment builds further on this platform— continuing its long-standing partnership with HP Indigo and Visutech.

The new press is scheduled for delivery and installation in September, carried out by Visutech’s experienced service team, ensuring a smooth implementation and rapid ramp-up in production. As part of the investment, the existing HP Indigo 15K at Eskils will be moved to ACG Accent’s production site to produce heat transfer applications.

“The merger between Stema and Eskils creates a strong foundation for future growth,” says Daniel Larsson, CEO of Stema. “With the HP Indigo 120K, we are taking the next step in building a highly efficient and flexible production environment. It will strengthen our position within retail applications while also enabling us to expand further within commercial print.”

“For ACG Accent, this is a valuable opportunity to further utilize the strengths within ACG Group,” says Jan Evertsson, CEO of ACG Accent. “With the HP Indigo 15K, we can develop our heat transfer applications with the quality, flexibility and consistency that HP Indigo technology enables.”

The HP Indigo 120K is designed for high-volume, industrial commercial printing, offering exceptional productivity with 6000 B2 sheets per hour, advanced automation and consistent, high-quality output thanks to continuous color calibration on the run. Built on HP Indigo’s Liquid Electrophotography (LEP) technology, it supports a wide range of applications—from retail and point-of-sale materials to broader commercial print—combining offset-quality results with the flexibility of digital production.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with Stema/Eskils as they take this important step,” says Patrik Agblad, Segment Manager Commercial at Visutech. “The HP Indigo 120K is a powerful platform for high-volume production, and together with our Field Service Engineers, we will support them in maximizing uptime, productivity and long-term performance. We are also very pleased to welcome ACG Accent back as a highly valued Visutech customer.”
